TREC 7-6 Standards of Practice

This template was developed in accordance with the TREC Standards of Practice 22 TAC §§535.227 – 535.223 (effective February 1, 2022) handbook. Every effort has been made to adhere to the 7-6 format and content requirements.

Two Templates for the Price of One

Because of the TREC 7-6 format requirements, this template contains only 4,800 comments instead of the standard 7,000. For this reason, in addition to the TREC 7-6 template you will also receive the INL standard Residential Template containing all 7,000 comments. You may transfer the additional comments (like Log Home) as you desire into the 7-6 version.

This template content exceeds the requirements of both the InterNACHI and ASHI SOPs. Inspection templates and inspection Standards serve different purposes, and this template is organized in manner optimized for the inspection process, so it covers the standards but doesn't follow them.
