5-Day Home Inspection Training
Dates: January 26-30, 2026 This is a comprehensive 5-day training.

This training is designed for both new home inspectors and experienced inspectors looking to enhance their skills. You will be guided through the House of Horrors®, a full-scale house with over 1,000 defects, by Certified Master Inspectors®. This hands-on training will prepare you for your home inspection certification and is geared towards beginners.
During This Training You Will:
- Be instructed by several Certified Master Inspectors®
- Perform inspections at the House of Horrors®
- Practice writing home inspection reports
- Test-drive over $20,000 worth of inspection tools
- Receive free textbooks
- Network with other inspectors
- Have a chance to win special prizes
- Meet with the InterNACHI® Marketing Team to begin developing your company's brand
Education Credits
Washington-licensed inspectors will receive 40 hours toward their state-required continuing education. This training qualifies for 40 InterNACHI® CE credits.
Pre-Licensing Approvals:
- 35 hours toward Virginia’s pre-licensing requirements
- 40 hours toward Florida's pre-licensing requirements
- 20 points toward Oregon's certification requirements
Continuing Education Approvals:

4 CEUS towards International Code Council (ICC)
This training includes performing inspections at the House of Horrors®, an entire house with a thousand defects built under our roof at InterNACHI® Headquarters. You'll learn how to find all of the defects we intentionally installed in this amazing facility. There are over 120 defects in the plumbing system alone!
Students are required to complete the online entrance exam prior to the class. It is recommended that students complete courses within the CPI certification program prior to the class.
InterNACHI has prerequisites for this training to ensure that students are getting the most hands-on time as possible. You must read and review the presentations prior to the class. These materials are given upon registration. Check your confirmation email for further instructions.
