Inspecting HVAC Systems Book

The purpose of this publication is to provide accurate and useful information for home inspectors in order to perform an inspection of the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system at a residential property. This manual covers the components of common residential HVAC systems, including: warm-air, hydronic, steam and electric heating systems; air-conditioning systems; and heat-pump systems.
