Join us for five days of home inspection training at the InterNACHI® House of Horrors®. This training is for anyone new to the home inspection business and for those who want to enhance their skills. During this comprehensive training, you will be guided through the House of Horrors®, an entire house with over 1,000 defects. 

Dates: July 20-24th, 2026 
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Located: InterNACHI House of Horrors, 1675 N Commerce Pkwy, Westin, Florida, 33326

Lunch is provided each day.

This training is designed for both new home inspectors and experienced inspectors looking to enhance their skills. You will be guided through the House of Horrors®, a full-scale house with over 1,000 defects, by Certified Master Inspectors®. This hands-on training will prepare you for your home inspection certification and is geared towards beginners.

During This Training You Will:

  • Be instructed by several Certified Master Inspectors®
  • Perform inspections at the House of Horrors®
  • Practice writing home inspection reports
  • Receive free textbooks
  • Network with other inspectors
  • Have a chance to win special prizes

Education Credits

This training is approved for state-approved CE hours in the following states: AK. 
This training qualifies for 40 InterNACHI® CE credits.

Pre-Licensing Approvals:

  • 40 hours toward Florida's pre-licensing requirements
  • 35 hours toward Virginia's pre-licensing requirements
  • 20 points toward Oregon's certification requirements 

Continuing Education Approvals:

  •  4 CEUS towards International Code Council (ICC)

This training includes performing inspections at the House of Horrors®, an entire house with a thousand defects built under our roof at InterNACHI® Headquarters. You'll learn how to find all of the defects we intentionally installed in this amazing facility. There are over 120 defects in the plumbing system alone!

Students are recommended to complete the InterNACHI online entrance exam prior to the class. It is recommended that students complete courses within the CPI certification program prior to the class.

InterNACHI has prerequisites for this training to ensure that students are getting the most hands-on time as possible. You must read and review the presentations prior to the class. These materials are given upon registration. Check your confirmation email for further instructions.
